The Ren & Stimpy Show Ren and Stimpy Early Publicity Cel/Color Model Cel (Nickelodeon, 1990s). The Ren & Stimpy Show followed Ren the psychotic chihuahua and the often clueless but well-intentioned Manx cat Stimpy as they went about their chaotic daily life. The show ran from 1992 to 1996 with five seasons and was known for its vibrant art style, surrealist tone, and adult humor. This lot features an early publicity/color model cel from the memorable animated series with these hilarious titular characters full figure and centered on the cel with great expressions and poses to match. The hand-painted 12 field 3-peghole cel is presented on a colorful hand-painted green and purple presentation background. These two iconic characters measure about 8.5'' x 6.5'' combined in a 11.5'' x 8.5'' mat window with 14.5'' x 10.5'' overall mat. This hard-to-find early publicity model/color model cel is in Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear and faint paint debris.More information about Spumco.
