Jim Davis Garfield Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 3-27-79 (United Feature Syndicate, 1979). The Caped Avenger (aka Garfield, using a blanket as a cape) fuels up to fight crime on this heroic strip! This is an earlier daily, from just the second year of Garfield comic strips, rendered in ink and screentone over blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 4". In Excellent condition. Remarkably for the strip's age, the screentone has not discolored! The piece is lightly toned with minor handling wear and in Excellent condition.More information about Jim Davis.
