Philippe Berthet Weird Tales Illustration Originale (2019). Philippe Berthet est sans doute le dessinateur européen le plus marqué par l'imaginaire US des années 40 et 50. Ainsi, la plupart de ses albums se déroulent aux Etats-Unis. Irrésistibles, ses femmes sont posées sur la feuille comme autant de joyaux étincelants et parées de couleurs directes. Titrée Bad Girl Don't Cry Berthet rend hommage à Weird Tales, un des plus célèbres magazines Pulp. Cette fausse couverture baigne dans une ambiance bleutée fascinante. Acrylique sur papier Bristol avec une superficie d'image de 41 x 59 cm. Signée. En Excellente Condition.Philippe Berthet Weird Tales Illustration Original Art (2019). Philippe Berthet is undoubtedly the most influentil European artist of the 1940s and 1950s US era. Most of his albums are set in the United States. Irresistible, his women are placed on the sheet like so many sparkling gems and adorned with direct colors. Titled "Bad Girl Don't Cry", Berthet pays tribute to Weird Tales, one of the most famous pulp magazines. This "false" cover is bathed in a fascinating bluish atmosphere. Acrylic on Bristol board with an image area of ??16" x 23.5". Signed. In Excellent condition.
