Description

David Wright Study of a Woman's Torso Painting Original Art (c. 1940s-50s). Satin sheets envelop a lithe figure bathed in light from an unseen window. A study of a woman's torso, the immense majesty of both light and figure create a feeling of transcendental opulence. Gouache on art paper with an image area of 9" x 8", mounted to an overall area of 9.75" x 8.75". Backing presents with moderate corner wear and/or crunch, creasing, and a 1" tear on the right side. The reverse has sketches of faces from different perspectives. In Very Good condition.
