Contra - VGA 80+ NM Sealed [Rev-A, Round SOQ], NES Konami 1988 USA. One of the definitive action titles for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Contra brought arcade-style run-and-gun thrills to home audiences with intense two-player cooperative gameplay, fast-paced shooting, and legendary boss battles. Players would guide commandos Bill and Lance through jungles and alien strongholds, dodging enemy fire while unleashing an arsenal of weapons in a fight to save Earth, including the awesome Spread Gun. Praised by many for being even better than Konami's 1987 arcade hit of the same name, the game is one of the system's most enduring and collectible releases. This copy has mild corner wear, as well as a 3.5" crease on the right spine and light concaving along the bottom and right side on the back, but it presents well. The front has a trio of light surface impressions, but these are only visible upon close inspection.Auction Info
