Startling Stories #60 January 1950 (Standard) CGC VF+ 8.5 White pages. This is a stunning high-grade white pages copy of one of the most desirable sci-fi pulps! Earle K. Bergey's classic robot cover was famously used in an homage by Enrich for the cover of Vampirella #68. Within, this issue includes "The Return of Captain Future" by Edmond Hamilton, "The Shadow Men" by A. E. Van Vogt, and a pseudonymous L. Ron Hubbard story. This is by far the nicest copy of this book we've ever offered; we sold the Roy Krenkel Pedigree copy (CGC 8.0 with off-white to white pages) for $2,880 in July 2024.
