Description

Target Comics #6 (Novelty Press, 1940) CGC Apparent FN+ 6.5 Slight (P) White pages. The White Streak floats above a river seemingly pondering the reason for his existence and purpose of it all. An odd cover with incredibly fine detail and a brilliant coloring job. The first appearance of the Chameleon is presented by Bill Everett in this issue and the White Streak's origin is continued from the previous issue. This issue has historic significance as the letter column may be the first in comics which also contains an early mention of comic collecting. While this book may have some slight professional restoration (including sealed spine splits and the reinforcement of the cover and centerfold) it has amazing appeal: a sharp and clean cover, deep colors, and nice corners. Overstreet 2002 GD 2.0 value = $175; FN 6.0 value = $525.
