Description

Popular Comics #52 (Dell, 1940) CGC NM 9.4 Cream to off-white pages. Dell's very first comic book title was already 50 issues old by 1940. This issue features a terrific robot cover by an unknown artist, and an interior feature, Bronc Peeler, that was scripted and drawn by Red Ryder creator Fred Harman. CGC to date has certified just two copies of this issue, and, curiously, both received this grade. We're guessing the other is from one of the premier pedigrees, making our offering your economy buy. Overstreet 2003 NM 9.4 value = $300.
