Description

Police Comics #1 (Quality, 1941) CGC VG+ 4.5 Cream to off-white pages. Plastic Man, the Human Bomb, Firebrand, and the Phantom Lady bow in this inaugural issue. Art by Jack Cole, Reed Crandall, and Will Eisner. Moderate spine distress seems less significant when contrasted against the vibrant cover colors. This historically important issue doesn't come around very often; only six copies are currently certified by CGC. Don't let this respectable-condition copy bounce by! Overstreet 2004 VG 4.0 value = $1,448.

CGC Grader Notes:
Bottom Spine Spine Split
Bottom Staple Front Cover Detached
Front Cover Wear All Edges
Right Center Front Cover Small Tear
