Hakugei: Legend of the Moby Dick Dew, Lucky, and Atre and Production Cel with Key Master Background and Animation Drawing Group of 3 (Studio Junio/Annapuru, c. 1997-99). Hakugei: Legend of the Moby Dick retells Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby-Dick, set in a futuristic outer space with "whales" represented by large abandoned spaceships. Presented are not one but two original production cels on their original Key Master backgrounds from the series. The first of these 12 field setups features hand-painted images of the characters Lucky and Atre from the episode "The White Demon," seen at the 1:57 mark. The second is a rare harmony cel featuring the mysterious android Dew. This piece is numbered A1, and it is the only image used for the shot! Each background is hand-painted beautifully in gouache on background board. In addition, the cel featuring Dew is joined by its matching original animation drawing rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper. Each piece shows minor handling and edge wear, and the cels are stapled to the backgrounds at the top edge. Key Master setups, especially harmony cels, are highly sought-after artifacts for collectors. Hakugei : Legend of the Moby Dick revisite le roman Moby-Dick (1851) d'Herman Melville, dans un espace futuriste où les "baleines" sont représentées par de grands vaisseaux spatiaux abandonnés. Nous vous proposons non pas un mais deux cellulos de production originaux présentés sur les fonds originaux de la série. La première de ces 12 field images, peinte à la main, montre les personnages de Lucky et Atre, lors de l'épisode "The White Demon", visibles à la marque 1:57. La seconde est un rare cellulo d'harmonie représentant le mystérieux androïde Dew. Elle est numérotée A1, et c'est la seule image utilisée pour le plan ! Chaque fond est magnifiquement peint à la main, à la gouache sur carton. En outre, l'image de Dew est accompagnée d'un dessin d'animation original correspondant, réalisé à la mine de plomb et aux crayons de couleur sur du papier d'animation 12 fields. Chaque pièce présente une légère usure sur les bords due à la manipulation, et les cellulos sont agrafés aux arrières-plans, au niveau du bord supérieur. Les ensembles Key Master, en particulier les harmony cels, sont des objets très recherchés par les collectionneurs. Rare ensemble. En Très Bonne condition.
