Description

George McManus Bringing Up Father and Rosie's Beau Sunday Comic Strips Original Art dated 10-25-42 (King Features Syndicate, 1942). It's moving day, but Maggie never gave Jiggs the address of their new home! McManus's clear linework makes for an incredibly seamless reading experience in this intricate Sunday, with every detail remaining sharp in each panel. This sensational Sunday has its matching date Rosie's Beau topper. The art is drawn in ink over graphite on two pieces of Bristol board, attached on the back with adhesive tape, for a combined image area of approximately 16.5" x 21.5". Mild toning and marginal staining. In Very Good condition.
