Jesus Blasco The Steel Claw Story Page 1 Original Art (Valiant, 1965). The Steel Claw was a top hero in the British weekly adventure comics scene throughout the '60s and '70s. Here is a striking example of Jesús Blasco's talent for crafting intense atmospheres, using dramatic light and shadow paired with precise, inspired brushwork. Ink over graphite on two Bristol boards assembled on the back with adhesive tape. The page shows an image area of 15.25" x 19.25". Whiteout. Light handling wear, toning, and minor marginal staining.
