Juan Giménez - Leo Roa Space Warrior Pirate and his Techno-Jaguar Illustration Original Art (1986). This gorgeous, detailed illustration by master artist Juan Giménez was a prized work, displayed in his Sitgès, Spain, studio and preserved among the select originals he kept in his personal collection throughout his life. The Leo Roa comic strip was serialized in two-page installments within the Al Loro supplement of the Spanish newspaper ABC. The run began in Issue #128 (October 19, 1986) and concluded in Issue #150 (March 22, 1987). The story centers on Leo Roa, an intrepid reporter who dreams of thwarting the notorious cosmic pirate Captain Drake and achieving lasting fame as a hero. Rendered in ink, color ink, and watercolor on thick illustration paper with an image area of 6.75" x 10.5". Light handling wear. Signed on both sides. In Excellent condition.
