Will Eisner The Spirit Section Story Page 6 Original Art dated 10-9-49 (Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1949). Under the spell of femme fatale Autumn Mews, Sammy reveals a crucial secret -- the true identity of The Spirit! A piece of Will Eisner's The Spirit is always a wonder to behold. This atmospheric page hails from The Spirit Section, a unique hybrid that functioned as both a syndicated strip and a comic book during the early days of the comic book industry. It is rendered in ink over graphite on lightly toned Bristol board, with an image area of 14" x 19.5". Panels 3 and 4 contain an original art paste-up that has discolored. Whiteout art corrections, adhesive tape in the lower margin, light handling wear, production staining, and marginal smudging. In Very Good condition.More information about Will Eisner.
