Description
Unknown Crime Comic Artist "Crooks Catch Themselves" Unpublished Complete 1-Page Story Original Art (Standard?, c. 1952). A handwritten "Gang World" in the lower right may indicate it was intended for that title from Standard. However, the title only lasted for two issues, and we have verified that it was not in either of them. Created twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18". There is a missing paste-up on the story title panel, and a missing text correction paste-up. There are also several handwritten notations in the margins and on the reverse side, some of which are questionable or incorrect. The top and side margins have been trimmed as well.
