Gray Morrow Barbara Cartland's Romances Daily Comics Strip Original Art Group of 6 (United Features Syndicate, Inc., c. 1980s). Barbara Cartland was one of the most successful writers of romance tales in her time. She is estimated to have published 700 books and has sold many millions of copies. The idea of turning some of her tales into newspaper strips was a natural, and Gray Morrow was the perfect artist for the job. Produced in ink, Zipatone, and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of 15" x 4.5". Mild toning, corner and edge wear, slight yellowing in Zipatone, with whiteout corrections, and some smudging. Averaged in Very Good condition.
