Description

Mickey's Garden Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1935). Mickey tries to remove the bugs from his garden in this Wilfred Jackson-directed short but gets more than he bargained for when he accidentally sprays himself with insecticide. The bug-killing juice causes him to hallucinate a world where bugs and plants are gigantic and can get drunk off of the insecticide, chasing him around his overgrown garden. This 12 field 3-peghole animation drawing comes from one of these chase scenes and can be found at about 5:36 when Mickey runs from an enormous stag beetle. It is rendered in graphite with color pencil and numbers 59. The mouse measures about 7'' x 2.75'' including the smoke effects and action lines. There is some age-related toning and faint borders on the pegholes. Light superficial wrinkling. Good condition overall for this terrified mouse.
