Alex Raymond Rip Kirby Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 7-29-52 (King Features Syndicate, 1952). It looks like Pagan is about to fall for the oldest trick in the book-the ol' "send flowers and a note to draw someone out of hiding" routine. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 5.5". Light toning and handling wear in margins. Editorial marks in blue graphite.
