Bob Powell Sick #42 (#v6#2) Page 38 Fanzine Parody Illustration Original Art (Prize, 1966). ITEM: If you were a Comic Reader at the time, or heaven help you... a ComiCollector, then it was easy to see this Rocket's Blast at fanzines was a solid kick to the Squa Tront!ITEM: Written by Paul "I'm Likin" Laikin, with an illustration by Bob "Power-House" Powell, this "What's News" feature poked Spa Fon at one of the only ways that pre-internet fans could get information about their favorite books.
ITEM: Created in ink and ink wash with white paint highlights on illustration board with an image area of 11.5" x 7.5". Toned, with handling and a minor crease. In Good condition.
Bonus ITEM: There is a jab at Stan Lee, and caricatures of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. So look for them, you Front-Facing Goldbricks!
