Description

Frank Willard Moon Mullins Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-7-39 (News Syndicate Co., Inc., 1939). A gentleman boarder asks a courtesy of the lady of the manor, Emmy Schmaltz Plushbottom. She finds the attention flattering -- until she gets a load of the truer motive. Brilliant bait-and-switch gag from Willard's long-running masterpiece of rude comedy. Ink over graphite on toned Bristol board. Image area, approximately 19" x 6". Light handling wear. Very Good condition.
From the Bobby G. Murphy Collection.
