Description

Chester Gould Dick Tracy Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 8-22-56 (Chicago Tribune, 1956). Skinny, the oversexed daughter of a boarding-house operator, and Flattop Jr. take centerstage on this ink over graphite on Bristol board daily with an image area of approximately 16.5" x 5". The original 1940s Flattop had become Gould's most famous villain -- a tough act to follow -- and Gould finally resurrected the menace in the form of a juvenile-delinquent son seen here in Panels 1 and 3. Marginal pinholes, toning, markings, and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
