Ferd Johnson Moon Mullins Daily Comic Strip Original Art Group of 5 (News Syndicate Co. Inc., 1967). Five dailies dated 8-19, 9-11, 9-13, 9-20, and 9-22, . It wasn't until 1964 that Frank Willard's main assistant, Ferd Johnson, who was drawing all of the episodes at the time, received a by-line on the Moon Mullins strips. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 16.5" x 5". Toning, pinholes, and general wear. There are also rough graphite sketches on the back of two of the strips.
