Description

Mickey's Mellerdrammer Mickey and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). Mickey and Minnie take on the roles of Little Eva and Topsy in this version of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" from the historical Wilfred Jackson-directed short. You likely won't see this theatrical animation anywhere outside of the internet, as it is controversial and a product of a time when "Tom's Shows" were still common. The 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing is rendered in graphite, capturing the centered full figures as they dance. These well-known characters can be found at about 2:23 as they perform their act stage, shortly before things take a turn for the worse. These detailed images are noted as 211 in the lower right corner, Minnie measuring about 2.5'' x 3.25'' and Mickey measuring roughly 2.5'' x 3.75''. The page exhibits light age-related toning with minor edge and handling wear. Very Good condition overall for this fabulous pair.
