Mickey Mouse Annual Br'er Rabbit Storybook Illustrations Group of 4 (Walt Disney/Dean & Son, c. 1950s). The star of Disney's Song of the South (1946) is featured in these four pages of very colorful and rare storybook artwork, done for a British Mickey Mouse Annual. The four pages of art all seem to be from the same story, with pages numbered 15 (title page, simply "Br'er Rabbit"), 17, 18, and 19; this last page includes two smaller illustrations with room for text. All are painted in gouache and ink with minor graphite (lettering outlines on page 15) on illustration board. The board and image approximate sizes are 9.5" x 8"/7.5" x 5.5" (p. 15), 8.5" x 8"/7.5" x 7" with a 3.5" x 2" text space (p. 17), 8.75" x 11.25", with two images - 3.5" x 3.75" and 3.5" x 4.5" (p. 18), and 8" x 7.25"/7.5" x 5.5" (p. 19).
