G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Cobra Commander Production Cels, Master Backgrounds, and Animation Drawing (Marvel/Sunbow, c. 1983-86). The evil Cobra Commander is presented in this fantastic assortment hand-painted original production cels from the classic animated series G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero. The series was based on the classic Hasbro toy line of the 1960s and tells the saga of a fearless, globe-trotting special missions force -- called G.I. Joe -- which works to combat Cobra. Presented are three hand-painted 12 field production cels depicting the "Joes" and the Cobras. The cels are paired with hand-painted Master production backgrounds. One setup comes with the matching production clean-up drawing. The cel setups exhibit edge wear from production use, the drawing exhibits damage to its face from sticking to the back of the cel.
