Description

Jack Kirby Lord of Light Featured Character Print Signed by Barry Ira Geller (Kirby Museum, 2013). This is a print of one of the fantastic pieces of original art that Jack Kirby created in 1978 for a movie/themepark that was shelved. Barry Ira Geller's screenplay was an adaptation of a Robert Zelazny novel. Just a few years later the CIA used this project as a cover to go into Iran and free six US diplomats during the Iranian Hostage Crisis. This true story was later adapted into the 2012 movie Argo. This impressive print has an image area of 13.5" x 22.25" and bears a printed Jack Kirby signature dated 1978 in the lower right. This modern print of the original art was signed by Barry Ira Geller in graphite. In Excellent condition.
From the Josh Entin Collection.
