Steve Rude Nexus: The Newspaper Strips: Battle for Thuneworld #2 Story Page 1 Original Art and Production Materials (Rude Dude Productions, 2024). Dave floats in a healing tank on Ylum as memories resurface and tension builds. Nearby, his father's ship veers toward Thune, where trouble, nostalgia, and unfinished battles await. Originally designed for Nexus newspaper strips, this scene is formatted in a single-page Sunday newspaper layout. The board is labeled Page 21, but the story is on Page 1. Crafted twice-up scale in ink, red keyline, and white paint highlights over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board 13.5" x 19". Signed by Steve Rude in the lower margin. Whiteout touchups, hand-lettered paste-up text corrections, stat text paste-up at the top of the page, and editorial notes. Includes seven pages of production materials.
