Description
Alan Weiss Warlock Character Studies Original Art with Copy of The Cartoonist Magazine #1 Group of 8 (c. 1966). Weiss's semipro Warlock feature, announced in the fanzine Comic Hero #2, anticipates Marvel Comics' Warlock by a significant stretch. Only fitting that Weiss' ascent to the major leagues of Marvel would find him working on that Warlock feature, with Jim Starlin. Here we find a wealth of cameo/spot depictions of Weiss' Warlock character, accompanied by his hand-made original-art/typeset collage for that landmark issue of Comic Hero. The array also includes a well-preserved copy of The Cartoonist #1. Ink and additional media on two-ply page-stock, affixed to four 7.25" x 10.5" two-ply sheets. Average Very Good condition.More Information: EDIT: To adjust item count to include printed/typeset materials...
