Description
Garfield and Friends "Ghost of a Chance" Garfield and McCraven the Ghost Production Cel Setup (Film Roman, 1992). "Maybe I can call the Ghostbusters! Nah, their show was cancelled." The Arbuckle household has a bit of a ghost problem in this episode of Garfield and Friends entitled "Ghost of a Chance." In this episode, a small, timid ghost unsuccessfully attempts to prove that he is scary by frightening Garfield. When he fails, his cruel ghost colleague frightens Garfield and Jon so much that they are forced to leave the house! In this scene, Garfield talks with the little ghost, whose name is McCraven, in order to devise a plan to get his house back, a moment which can be found at about the 4:30 mark of the episode. This setup is composed of two original, hand-painted 12 field production cels depicting great full-figure images of Garfield and McCraven. The cels are marked in their lower right corners with G6 and M10. The cels have been placed atop a color print background for presentation. This piece is in Good to Very Good condition, with some handling and edge wear.From the Jim Davis Collection.
