Sean Gordon Murphy Batman / Spawn #1 Variant Cover Preliminary Original Art Group of 2 (DC, 2023). The legendary creator behind the quickly-becoming-a-classic Batman: White Knight series, Sean Gordon Murphy, gives us a peak into his process for a cover featuring an epic team-up between the Dark Knight and Todd McFarlane's Spawn! This lot, perfect for fans of epic capes, features two preliminaries: one small thumbnail-size image measuring 2" x 3.25" and one large measuring 7.75" x 11". Both were created using mixed media on paper and display smudging, crinkling, and black tape in the top margin.
