George McManus Rosie's Beau and Partial Bringing Up Father Sunday Comic Strips Original Art dated 6-4-39 (King Features Syndicate, 1939). Archie's proposal to Rosie is halted by a tailoring tab in this Rosie's Beau daily episode, presented here alongside the first tier of the accompanying Bringing Up Father Sunday strip from 6-4-39. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with a combined image area of 16.25" x 9.75". The logo is a stat paste-up. Lightly toned, with marginal tape, production notes, and handling wear.
