Michael Kaluta Savage Tales #9 Preliminary Cover Ka-Zar Original Art (Marvel, 1975). Ka-Zar and Zabu look ready for action in this preliminary drawing by Michael Kaluta. This piece differs from the final cover image, but gives a great look at the steps that go into creating wonderful works of art. Ink and graphite on paper with an image size of 8.25" x 11.75", matted with an acetate front at 11.75" x 15.75". Toned, spots of white paint, with creasing/handling wear.
