Description

Fred Harman Red Ryder Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-8-39 (NEA Service, Inc., 1939). A tense standoff to defy a siege by land-grabbing outlaws between Red's Native American pal, Little Beaver. An early episode from the long-running series finds Harman in full command. Ink over graphite on age-toned Bristol board with an image area of 24.5" x 5.5". Mild toning and smudging, corner wear, marginal pinholes, and creased at center for file storage. In Very Good condition.
