Description

John Buscema Conan the Barbarian Daily Comic Strip Original Art dated 9-13-78 (Register and Tribune Syndicate, 1978). Conan demands to know why Norda races the badlands, and the answer comes screaming from above as a winged demon-beast dives from the sky in this early daily from "The Wizard's Daughter", just the 10th strip after the feature's debut and one of only 48 Buscema completed for the series. Ink and screentone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 15.25" x 4". Slight toning, with adhesive residue staining, marginal pinholes, staple in top left corner, blue pencil editorial marks, whiteout corrections, text and sound effect paste-ups, and minor handling wear. In Very Good condition.
