Description

John Byrne and Klaus Janson Wolverine #17 Story Page 12 Original Art (Marvel, 1989). Wolverine (aka Patch) breathes in the "fresh" Madripoorian morning air after a night of fun and violence at the Princess Bar, spent alongside the island's morally ambiguous crime boss, Tyger Tiger. This collaboration between two legendary artists of the 1980s (and beyond), John Byrne and Klaus Janson, showcases the best of both creators: Byrne's dynamic anatomy and powerful posing, and Janson's bold, expressive inking with meticulous facial and hair detailing. Rendered in ink and Zipatone over graphite with an image area of 10" x 15". The Zipatone has discolored; includes a taped page number paste-up, whiteout corrections, and handling wear. In Excellent condition.
