Bob Brown and Frank Giacoia The Witching Hour #18 Story Pages 6-7 Original Art (DC, 1972). The echo of trench-digging claws at his sanity. Pursued by the phantom sounds of the men he abandoned, Achilles Moreau runs blindly into the night and toward a minefield awaiting its next victim in these eerie pages from "'The Diggers' (or, 'Dig, They Must!')". Ink over graphite on Bristol boards with image areas of 10" x 15". Light toning, blue marker editorial notes/marks, discolored tape, whiteout corrections, tape over "Continued..." paste-up, smudging, stripped-in text correction held by tape on the back, and minor corner/handling wear.
