The Autograph Hound Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). "A-and you're Donald Duck!" Shirley Temple exclaims, pointing at a now blushing Donald. This adorable 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing from the Jack King-directed short The Autograph Hound can be found at about the 5:04 mark as Donald realizes that Shirley recognized him. He turns as red as a tomato and immediately reaches for his autograph book. The two exchange autographs moments later, creating a very memorable scene. This lovely full figure drawing is rendered masterfully in graphite with color pencil and noted as 951 in the lower right corner. It measures approximately 3.5'' x 5''. Very Good condition for this great vintage drawing with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and a small area of graphite on the back of the page.Auction Info
