Description
Whitman Artist Superman Smashes the Secret of the Mad Director Paperback Story Pages Original Art Group of 2 (Whitman, 1966). Clark Kent and Lois Lane have trouble while on the set of the maniacal movie director Max Malice's medieval feature film on these two groups of illustrations for Pages 46-55 (50 was not included) and 56-65 (63 not included) of the Superman paperback book. Ink over graphite on Bristol boards adhered to sheets of paper to create a nine-panel sheet with an image area of approximately 17" x 19". Slight toning, discolored tape along the top edge, page numbers handwritten in the individual panel's image area, with creasing, staining, and handling wear.
