Description
FernGully: The Last Rainforest Pips and Crysta Production Cel (Kroyer Films, 1992). Original hand-painted production cel of Pips, the 15-year-old spirit of the forest who hangs out with the "Hell's Angels of the Forest" and Crysta the curious fairy from FernGully: The Last Rainforest. FernGully is set in an Australian rainforest inhabited by fairies including Crysta, who accidentally shrinks a young logger named Zak to the size of a fairy. Together, they rally the fairies and the animals of the rainforest to protect their home from the loggers and Hexxus, a malevolent pollution entity. The film stars the voices of Tim Curry, Samantha Mathis, Christian Slater, and Robin Williams. Offered in this lot is a superb 12 field production cel paired with a background copy/print and matted to 20" x 16" with an aperture of 13" x 9". The setup contains a Bill Kroyer seal of authenticity in the lower right. Condition is Very Good.Auction Info
