Super Dimension Fortress Macross Bruno J. Global Production Cel and Animation Drawing (Tatsunoko Production, c. 1982-83). "Captain! No smoking is allowed on the bridge!" Captain of Spacy's flagship, the massive fortress SDF-1 Macross, pipe smoking Bruno J. Global is presented in the original production cel from the first series in a long running franchise, Super Dimension Fortress Macross. Captain Global sees the Macross through many adventures and hardships battling the Zentradi aliens and is known to regularly pull out and light up his smoking pipe when he's feeling nervous. He is featured from the waist up on the hand-painted 12 field cel, measuring approximately 6" x 6.25". The cel is accompanied by its matching production drawing rendered in graphite and colored pencils on 12 field animation paper, both of which display the production code A31 in the top right. The lot shows handling and edge wear from production including some corner creasing and paint transfer/staining to the drawing, and warping with minor paint separation/thinning of the cel. Overall, Fair to Good condition.
