Sienkiewicz turns teenage angst into high art, cementing New Mutants as Marvel's surrealist evolution of superhero storytelling. Although he is not on this page, this issue features the first full appearance of Legion. Twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 18". Moderate toning, hand-lettered text paste-ups, adhesive residue from a missing "I Can the wind even through my insulated costume"paste-up in Panel 2, blue pencil editorial marks, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
