Description

Al Scaduto They'll Do It Every Time Daily Single-Panel Comic Strip Dated 3-21-2000 Original Art (King Features Syndicate, 2000). A great gag from the famous spoof of human foibles and comical ironies, which ran from the 1920s until 2008. This example of the strip's later years feature the energetic cartooning of Al Scaduto, successor to creator Jimmy Hatlo. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 9.5". Light toning and logotype-staining. Signed and inscribed and in Very Good condition.
"As a young teen and aspiring comic artist and cartoonist, Anthony "Tony" Tallarico wrote to his favorite comic strip artists telling them how much he admired their work. He would often be rewarded with inscribed artwork as a thank you. He kept them throughout his own successful illustrating career." Nina Reyes (Anthony Tallarico's daughter)
