Pat Quinn Chucky #4 Story Page 26 Original Art (Devil's Due Publishing, 2007). A hallmark of horror, Chucky has been instilling fear in audiences for over thirty years since his debut in the slasher film Child's Play (1988). The Child's Play franchise has become immensely popular, spawning sequels, remakes, TV shows, comics, video games, and merchandise. This is an original piece of art from the wildly popular franchise. This original story page art was made for the 2007 Chucky comic miniseries created by Devil's Due Publishing after the release of Seed of Chucky. Though marked Issue #5, this artwork was created for Page 4 of Chucky #4, which was the final installment in the first volume of the series. The page comes from a storyline involving Jade and Jesse of Bride of Chucky fame. In this page, Chucky strangles a nurse to prevent her from aiding Jesse, who has just been stabbed by the killer doll. Pencils in this issue were done by Pat Quinn, who also worked on Marvel's Green Lantern and Captain Marvel comics. The detailed, dynamic linework is simply stunning! The brilliantly-rendered graphite and blue pencil artwork measures about 9" x 13.5" on the 11" x 17" Bristol board.
