Alfredo Alcala and Jim Janes Eerie #104 The Rook Story Page 2 Original Art (Warren, 1979). Bishop Dane rebukes Manners for siding with robots on the Battlestars Wars TV show before gearing him up for a time-traveling adventure in this detailed page from the Star Wars and Buck Rogers-inspired sci-fi series. On the reverse, Alcala sketched what appears to be Conan the Barbarian resting as ominous figures approach, a character he was illustrating during this period. Twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18.5".
