Description

Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "And your reward shall be one million golden pazoozas!" When Mickey Mouse mistakenly convinces the king that he killed seven giants with one blow (he was actually talking about flies), the king appoints him "Royal High Killer of the Giant", a title for which Mickey is less than pleased. Created for the moment seen at the 3:26 mark of the Wolfgang Reitherman-directed theatrical short The Brave Little Tailor, this is a marvelous original animation drawing of Mickey as the Brave Little Tailor, rendered in graphite on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. The drawing is rendered in graphite and color pencil, and it is numbered 3 in the lower right corner. The piece is matted with a window size of 5" x 6.75" and an overall mat size of 10.75" x 12.75". The drawing shows handling and edge wear with age-related toning and some staining. It is folded to fit the mat. A fantastic image from one of Mickey's greatest roles, the condition is Good.
