Description

Mickey's Trailer Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1938). "Get out of the way!" Presented in this lot is an incredible 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck from the hilarious Ben Sharpsteen-directed short Mickey's Trailer, released to theaters 5/6/1938. The two simultaneously breathe a sigh of relief after they nearly collide with an oncoming train. How did they get themselves into this situation? Goofy. He accidentally disconnected their trailer and now their once in a lifetime road trip has taken on a whole new meaning! This expressive graphite with color pencil animation drawing can be found at about the 6:54 mark as the two realize the danger has passed, their full figures measuring roughly 6.25'' x 5.25'' combined. This expressive drawing is noted as 179 in the lower right corner and is in Good to Very Good condition with minor edge and handling wear, light age-related toning, and faint superficial wrinkling.
