Description

Bernie Wrightson and Jimmy Palmiotti Nightmare Theater #1 Story Page 5 Original Art (Chaos! Comics, 1997). Though Bernie Wrightson increasingly gravitated toward film and TV concept work in the 1990s, the horror master still found time for a few choice comic projects. His lifelong fascination with monsters and the macabre made this werewolf tale, "One Perfect Night", an irresistible fit. Penciled by Wrightson and inked by Jimmy Palmiotti, it's a dark delight that shows Wrightson's instinct for atmosphere and unease was as sharp as ever. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Smudging, whiteout touch-up, and corner creasing/wear. Signed twice by Wrightson in the lower margin. In Excellent condition.
