Description
The Smurfs Papa Smurf and Vanity Smurf Production Cel and Master Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1981). A great production cel setup featuring Papa Smurf, the village leader and Vanity Smurf, seen here with his omnipresent mirror. Vanity is obsessed with his own personal beauty, and easily identified by a flower on the right side of his hat. Papa is easily identified by his Santa Claus looks with white beard, red hat and pants. Both characters stand full-figure at 4", hand-painted on 12 field acetate. The cel is paired with a Master background from the show. The background was hand-painted in gouache on 12 field size background board. Matted to 14" x 18" with an aperture of 10.5" x 8".
