Description

Jim Scancarelli Gasoline Alley Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 1-21-24 (Tribune Content Agency, 2024). This unique Sunday features only two story panels, with one significantly larger panel that displays a paper with repeating rows of floating heads featuring Walt, Skeezix, and Slim on it. Skeezix claims you can turn the figures 3-D if you "stare at the center and cross your eyes a bit" -- but whether or not the effect works, you'll have to try for yourself to find out!
Crafted in ink over graphite on conjoined Bristol boards with a total image area of 20.5" x 14.5". The piece presents with a stat title paste-up, tape on the reverse, whiteout corrections, and light handling wear. The rows of heads are a stat paste-up. Also includes a hand-colored color guide. In Very Good condition.
