Description

Leonard Starr Mary Perkins, On Stage Consecutive Daily Comic Strips Original Art Group of 2 (Chicago Tribune, 1979). Pete Fletcher pays a steep price to be taken to Missy Burdett, while Ambrose reveals his very personal reasons for disliking the faux-evangelist Zed to Mary Perkins in this compelling daily duo! This pair of episodes is dated 6-6 and 6-7 of 1979, and comes from near the end of the strip's run, as Leonard Starr departed in September of 1979 to take over Little Orphan Annie. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol boards with approximate image areas of 16.5" x 5". Lightly toned around the edges, with pinholes in the margins, whiteout corrections, production notes in blue pencil, smudging, and light handling wear. In Very Good condition.
